Boris Taslitzky
(born September 30, 1911 in Paris, died. December 9, 2005 in Paris), French painter, a prisoner of the co ncentration camp Buchenwald. His parents emigrated from Russia af ter the 1905 revolution. He studied painting wlEcole Nationale de s Beaux-Arts in Paris with Jacques s Lipchitz. In 1935 he joined the French Communist Party, also worked in arts organizations. Mobilized in August 1939, he served in the military during World War II. After the capitulation of France, engaged in resistance activity.
